Abstract
A brief summary of the article
I’ve finally moved into my new home. Come in for a cup of tea but watch out for the other ‘rooms’ – i’m still decorating.

Main article body
Welcome to andrewingram.net, there’s not much here now but hopefully that will change in the near future. As you may have worked out already my name is Andrew Ingram and I guess you could call me a web developer from England. I’ve had numerous sites over the years and most all of them ended up being non-events, I decided that it was time to stop letting what i’ve picked about web design go to waste and actually produce something i’m proud of.
It’s fair to say that whilst this is officially version 1 of the site (no web 2.0 beta notices here, though maybe there should be) it’s probably about the 4th design and the 2nd under the current site name, maybe i’ll show you what the other one looked like sometime. I’ve done my best to make this site accessible in terms of markup and styling but i’m sure there’s things i’ve missed, feel free to leave a comment with any suggestions or criticisms you might have (be nice!). As things stand the design of the articles pages are pretty much settled, the homepage and archives were put together in a hurry and will no doubt be improved as I see the direction the content takes. The portfolio and about pages haven’t been implemented yet, the about page will probably be next since all I have to do is figure out what to say, whilst the portfolio page will probably take longer as i’ve still got to work out how it will fit together.
That about covers it for this first post, I was tempted to leave it at “Testing 123” but that would probably have been a bit of a bad start.
